Student Accommodation at Agri Skills Transfer Cullinan Farm Campus

At the Cullinan Farm Campus, we provide dormitory-style accommodation for both male and female students, ensuring a comfortable and supportive living environment. Students enjoy three nutritious meals on weekdays, while a dedicated student kitchen is available on weekends for preparing their own meals. To make life easier, we also offer weekly laundry services to take care of students' clothing. Our accommodation is designed to support students as they focus on their studies and practical training in agriculture.

First-Year: Theoretical and Practical Studies

Students spend their first year engaged in full-time theoretical studies, complemented by practical sessions at the campus's agricultural enterprise units, including:

  • Goat Production
  • Poultry Production
  • Sheep Production
  • Plant Production and Vegetable Farming
  • Irrigation and Water Management
  • Beef Cattle Production
  • Pomegranate Orchards Management

Students complete a minimum of 1,200 practical hours, meticulously logged in their logbooks, ensuring they gain invaluable hands-on experience.

Second-Year: Practical Experience

In the second year, students identify a farm of their own choice to complete their practical components. This immersive experience allows them to specialise and apply their knowledge in a real-world setting. The theoretical learning continues via Google Classroom, blending traditional education with modern digital tools for a comprehensive learning experience.
