Groenkloof City Campus

2 Year National Diplomas

About Groenkloof City Campus

Since 2012, Agri Skills Transfer has been offering accredited National Diploma courses in agriculture through distance learning. We established a full-time training farm for residential students living, learning and working on the farm in Cullinan just outside Pretoria in 2019. To further enhance access to quality and affordable agricultural training for urban residents, we have established the new Groenkloof Campus open for registration now. This campus uniquely combines classroom instruction with practical sessions at our Cullinan Farm, providing students living in Pretoria with a comprehensive learning experience. Students can choose to study in either Afrikaans or English.

THEORETICAL AND PRACTICAL LEARNING INTEGRATION

At the Groenkloof City Campus, students follow a theoretical and practical alternating schedule. For five weeks, students engage in full-time theoretical studies at the campus, gaining a strong foundation in agricultural principles. Every sixth week, they transition to the Cullinan Campus and farming facilities for hands-on practical training, where they apply what they’ve learned in real-world farming environments. This cycle repeats throughout the year, ensuring students complete the required practical hours and theoretical coursework for their first year. This balanced approach prepares students comprehensively for success in the agricultural sector.
