PEST CONTROL OPERATOR TRAINING

Agri Skills Transfer has developed the NQF Level 4 Agriculture and Forestry Course to empower the South African agricultural industry and related sectors to comply with the Fertilizers, Farm Feeds, Seeds and Remedies Act 36 of 1947. Successful candidates will be eligible to register as Pest Control Operators (PCOs) with the Registrar under Act 36 of 1947.

CERTIFICATION AND REGISTRATION

After successful assessment and demonstration of competency, along with:

  • 6 months of relevant practical experience or
  • A recognised agricultural qualification,
  • The learner will be eligible to apply for a P-Registration Number issued by the Department of Agriculture (as per Act 36 of 1947).
